1st Race (1) The Rani Laxmi Bai Plate (about) 1400 metres – Catgegory II:

          Explanation of Jockey Sk. Farookh (SIR ALMAS) in the presence of Trainer Shamsuddin that his mount did not raise a proper gallop soon after the start and was tardy to get into stride in the straight inspite of his best efforts, noted for future reference.

          Jockey Ravinder Singh (ACCORDION) was cautioned to be more vigorous in his efforts in the initial stages of the race to be well up with the field.

          Explanation of Jockey D. Singh (CALIGATAE) that his mount did not respond to his urgings in the last 300 metres, noted.

 

2nd Race – (2) The Nawab Mehdi Jung Bahadur Memorial Cup Div. II (about) 1400 metres – Category III:

          ALTAI (APP. NITIN SINGH) was  troublesome to be stalled, reared up and broke her bridle which was subsequently replaced. As the mare was reluctant to go into the stall inspite of all efforts, was permitted to be withdrawn before coming under Starter’s Orders. SSC revoked.

          Explanation of Jockey A. Imran Khan (KING SIZE) that his mount veered out as the start was effected in the process loosing 2 to 3 lengths inspite of his efforts, noted..

          Jockey K. Suresh (RED FAIRY) cautioned for shifting in soon after the start taking the ground of EASY TOUCH (D. SINGH).

          Jockey Sk. Farookh (MAN ON FIRE) fined Rs. 2,000/- for shifting in whilst negotiating the final bend in the process tightening EASY TOUCH (D. SINGH) who in turn went onto CHEETAH HE JEETHA (HARISH) and CELTIC SHOT  (SURAJ NARREDU) and shift in again at about  300 metres causing severe interference to CELTIC SHOT (SURAJ NARREDU) the latter stumbling and losing position.

          Trainer S. Habeebullah was cautioned for using faulty equipment in that the SHEEP SKIN NOSE BAND used on his charge RED FAIRY (K. SURESH) slipped during the race.

 

3rd Race – (3) The Nawab Mehdi Jung Bahadur Memorial Cup Div. I (about) 1400 metres – Category III:

          BELLA COOLA (SURAJ NARREDU) dropped the Jockey on way to the Starting Gates and ran the course as such was permitted to be withdrawn before coming under Starter’s Orders.

STROKE OF LUCK (RAVINDER SINGH) jumped out slowly loosing about 2 to 3 lengths inspite of the Jockeys efforts.

          Explanation of Jockey K. Anil (BENTOTA) that his mount took a fly jump as the start was given losing about  2 to 3 lengths, noted.

          Explanation of Jockey S. Sreekant (GLOBAL STAR) that his mount took fly jump losing 2 to 3 lengths inspite of his efforts, noted.

          App. R. Umesh (AMAZING CONQUEST) cautioned to maintain a straight course in the straight.

          Jockey Laxman (STAR SPELLBOUND) cautioned to be more vigorous in his efforts from about 200 metres.

          COSTA MESA (J.H. CHRISTOPHER) was trotting short on both hind.

 

4th Race – (4) The Thungabhadra Plate Div. II (about) 1200 metres – Category III:

          For parading his charge without TONGUE STRAP and RUBBER D’ BIT equipments permitted on ALLEGATION (JOSEPH ANTONY), Trainer L.D’Silva was cautioned to be more careful in future.

          Explanation of Jockey Joseph Antony (ALLEGATION) that his mount veered out soon after start taking the ground of NANDANVANAA (RAVINDER SINGH), noted. Jockey Joseph Antony was however cautioned to be more vigorous in his efforts soon after the start.

          Explanation of Jockey Ch. K. Chary (BLEND OF BEAUTY) that his mount took a fly jump as the start was effected losing 1 or 2 lengths, noted.

          Explanation of App. R. Umesh  (GOLD SPREE) that his mount was tending to hang out in the initial stages of the race inspite of his efforts noted.  Trainer A. Vatsalya was advised to take remedial measures.

          Jockey R. Laxmikanth (KING IN THE SKY) cautioned to be more vigorous in his efforts in the straight.

          Jockey Suraj Narredu (STORM COMMAND) cautioned for coming in approaching the 600 metres taking the ground of COOL SPICE (G.B. KHADE).

          Jockey Ravinder Singh (NANDANVANAA) reported loss of his whip at about 300 metres.

 

5th Race – (5) The Cupid Plate Div. I (about) 1200 metres – category II:

          Jockey Suraj Narredu (WINNING RAYS) severely cautioned for shifting in soon after the start taking ground of LEO DVIJ (RAVINDER SINGH) and CANNON SCOT (D. SINGH).

          Jockey D. Gnaneshwar (JET EXPRESS) fined Rs. 2,000/- for shifting in at about 200 metres causing interference to TRUE FORCE (LAXMAN).

          Jockey Arvind Joshi (HABITUATED) severely cautioned to exercise greater control over his mounts in that he veered in touching WINNING RAYS (SURAJ NARREDU) 50 metres after the start who in turn caused a check to CANNON SCOT (D. SINGH).

          Jockey S. Sreekant (PORTFOLIO) cautioned to be more vigorous in his efforts in the straight.

 

6th Race – (6) The Thungabhadra Plate Div. I (about) 1200 metres – Category III:

          SHIVAJI (A. RAMANA) refused to be stalled inspite of all efforts was permitted to be withdrawn before coming under Starter’s Orders. SSC revoked.

          Explanation of App. R. Umesh (FIRST SOLAR) that his mount veered out soon after the start inspite of his efforts, noted.  Trainer A. Vatsalya was advised to show his charge at the gates.

          Jockey Sk. Sharookh (AL JAMEEL) fined Rs. 2,000/- for coming in soon after the start and crowding the runners on his inside viz., STYLISH LADY (K. ANIL), BAKERSFIELD (J.H. CHRISTOPHER) and COLLEGE GIRL (M.F. ALI KHAN) resulting in severe interference to  STYLISH LADY.

          Jockey K. Anil (STYLISH LADY) fined Rs. 1,000/- for failing to exercise sufficient control over his mount at about 300 metres in the process veering in causing severe interference to JAY JAY (A. ABHINAY).

 

7th Race – (7) The Madras Race Club Cup (about) 1400 metres – Category I:

 

          BOLD BLAST (RAVINDER SINGH) slow out and then veered out losing about 4 to 5 lengths.  Trainer D. Netto was advised to show his charge at the gates before next acceptance.

          Jockey B. Shanker (RUDOLPH VALENTINO)  cautioned to exercise greater control over his mount in that his mount veered out soon after the start causing a check to TOUCH OF GOLD (R. LAXMIKANTH).

          Explanation of Jockey Suraj Narredu (FLYING RUDOLPH) that his mount was tending to hang out  throughout the race whereby he could not ride out his mount to complete advantage, noted.  Trainer K.S.V. Prasad Raju was advised to take remedial measures before next acceptance.

 

8th Race – (8) The Cupid Plate Div. II (about) 1200 metres – Category II:

          TIGANA (P. UDAY KIRAN) and LADY IN STYLE (P.S. CHOUHAN) slow out losing about 3 or 4 lengths.

          Jockey Ch. K. Chary (FABULOUS CROWN) fined Rs. 1,000/- for shifting out soon after the start causing interference to QUEEN ALBA (B. SHANKER).

          ELITE PRINCE (G.B. Khade) trailed the field throughout the race.  Trainer K.S.V. Prasad Raju was advised for better performance before next acceptance.

Jockey P.S. Chouhan (LADY IN STYLE) cautioned for shifting in approaching 600 metres taking ground of TIGANA (P. UDAY KIRAN).

 

9th Race – (9) The Classic Style Plate (about) 1100 metres – Category III:

          GREATBALLOFCHINA (M. KRISHNA) dwelt losing about 4 to 5 lengths as the blind folds could not be removed as the start was effected.

          Explanation of App. Nitin Singh (TARGET TIME) that his mount took a fly jump as the start was effected losing 1 or 2 lengths, noted.  App. Nitin Singh was however cautioned for shifting in at about 400 metres taking the ground of EXECUTE (A. RAMANA).

          Jockey P. Uday Kiran (YOUNG TALENT) cautioned to be more vigorous in his efforts throughout the race.

          Jockey A. Imran Khan (MILLION DEAL) cautioned to ride out his mounts past the post.
