The Racing Industry Course - Sponsored by Weatherbys
 


The British Racing School, in partnership with the British Authority, are pleased to announce that Weatherbys is now sponsoring The Racing Industry Course.

The Racing Industry Course, a residential five day programme that covers all aspects of racing industry, is now taking bookings for its course in the first week of February 2009. The week will be packed with a wide range of seminars, behind-the-scenes visits and interactive sessions hosted by the leading professionals of th racing world.

Delegates on the course will get to meet the top people in racing; speakers booked for the programme so far include John Ryan, Director of Communications at the British Horseracing Authority, legendary racehorse trainer Ian Balding, Lydia Hislop, horseracing journalist and television presenter, Akira Nagashima managing director of the Japan Racing Association and Louise Kemble, Chief Executive of the Thoroughbred Breeders Association. There will be an exclusive behind-the-scenes tour of Tattersalls during sales week following by an insight into one of the world's most successful studs,Darley. At the end of the week there is also an optional day at Newbury racecourse, when delegates can enjoy a day of quality jump racing.

The course would suit those in managerial roles in the industry or those who aspire to expand their knowledge of the huge diversity of themes and issues within racing. The nature of the course means it will be ideal networking opportunity for delegates wanting to advance their industry connections and exchange ideas with other delegates and programme speakers.
