RACEDAY REPORT

Track Condition : GOING SOFT. Penetro Meter Reading : 5.69 cms

The False Rails are positioned from 1400 mtrs to 900 mtrs at an average width of 2 mtrs and thereafter gradually increased to 3 mtrs upto 450 mtrs. The distances are measured and marked accordingly.

1st RACE (56) THE RED RUM PLATE ABOUT 1400 - Metres CATEGORY-II (8 Runners)

LAKE MICHIGAN (B R Kumar) jumped out slowly losing about 1 or 2 lengths.

 

Explanation of Jockey Md.Ekram Alam (BESTIE) that his mount took time to come into stride and thereafter he did his best was not accepted and the Jockey was severely cautioned for traveling 9-10 horses wide while negotiating the find bend for no apparent reason and finishing the course as such.

2nd RACE (57) THE DEVARAKONDA CUP (Division - II) ABOUT 1100 - Metres CATEGORY-III (9 Runners)

Explanation of Jockey Mukesh Kumar (SHOOLIN) that his mount was slow into stride in the process losing about 1 or 2 lengths and thereafter tried to run out throughout the race inspite of his best efforts, noted. Trainer Magan Singh Parmar was advised to take remedial measures before next accepting in a race. Subsequent Veterinary examination revealed that the filly returned bleeding cut injury over right side upper gum. However, the filly was trotting sound after the race.

 

Explanation of Jockey A. Ashhad Asbar (ZUZA) that his saddle moved back in the straight as such he could not ride out his mount to complete advantage from about the 400 mtrs. As this confirmed our observation, Trainer L V R Deshmukh was fined Rs. 5000/- for negligence in discharging his duties in saddling of his charge whose saddle moved back and further warned to ensure that such lapses do not occur in future.

 

Jockey Kuldeep Singh (Sr) (HER LADYSHIP) was fined Rs. 5000/- for excessive and improper use of the whip (1st offense).

 

Explanation of Trainer D. Netto with regard to the improved performance of his charge HER LADYSHIP                     (Kuldeep Singh (Sr)) the winner, who finished off board in the previous race that his instructions were to go to front which Jockey could not able to do so as compare to the present race where Jockey was able to go to front and also his charge liked the going and set his own pace and won the race. The Trainer added that he too was surprised with the way of the running of his charge and further Trainer stated that he had not fancied his charge and was available at longer odds, noted. The Trainer was however, cautioned for the improved performance of his charge within a short span of time and to ensure that his charges race more consistently in future.

3rd RACE (58) THE INDEPENDENCE CUP (Division - II) ABOUT 1200 - Metres CATEGORY-II  (8 Runners)

Jockey Yash Narredu (SANGREAL) was fined Rs. 2000/- for shifting in soon after the start, in the process crowding the runners drawn on his inside resulting in causing inconvenience to SHE CAN (Shamaz Shareef) and DECCAN SPIRIT (Mukesh Kumar).

 

WARWICK (P. Ajeeth Kumar) was denied a clear run from about the 400 mtrs upto the final 100 mtrs due to wall of horses racing in front.

 

ONLY MY WAY (Afroz Khan) dropped back from about the 800 mtrs and finished the course at the rear end of the field inspite of Jockeys efforts. Trainer L D Silva was advised for a better performance in future.

 

 

 

DECCAN SPIRIT (Mukesh Kumar) returned bleeding from both the nostrils.

4th RACE (59) THE FAIR HAVEN PLATE ABOUT 1400 - Metres CATEGORY-II (7 Runners)

EMPERORS CHARM was observed to have developed painful tendon strain over right fore limb, as such gelding was permitted to be withdrawn on Veterinary grounds.

 

PARK LANE (Md. Ismail) jumped out slowly losing about 1 or 2 lengths.

 

Jockey Yash Narredu (BRILLIANT LAD) was fined Rs. 3000/- for shifting out at about the 500 mtrs in the process causing inconvenience to JURAMENTO (Surya Prakash).

 

AMPERE'S TOUCH (G. Naresh) trailed the field throughout the race and finished the course distance behind. Trainer Sk. Waseem Ahmed was advised for a better performance in future.

5th RACE (60) THE DEVARAKONDA CUP (Division - I) ABOUT 1100 - Metres CATEGORY-III (9 Runners)

App. Ajay Kumar (ONLY THE BRAVE) was cautioned for failing to maintain a straight course soon after the start.

 

Jockey Mukesh Kumar (PEANUT) reported that his mount was trying to run out in the process veered out in the straight and finished the course inspite of his best efforts, noted. Trainer Magan Singh Parmar was advised to take remedial measures before next accepting in a race.

 

Jockey Kuldeep Singh (Sr) (DOUBLE BUBBLE) reported that his mount was hanging in, for greater part of the race inspite of his best efforts, noted. Trainer D. Netto was advised to take remedial measures before next accepting in a race.

 

Jockey Akshay Kumar (DONTBLOCKMYWAY) was cautioned for shifting in 100 mtrs after the start in the process causing interference to DASHING CHARM (A. Ashhad Asbar).

 

Jockey P. Ajeeth Kumar (BHAIRAVA) was cautioned to be more vigorous in his efforts in the initial stages of the race to be well up with the field.

6th RACE (61) THE ASCOT PLATE ABOUT 1200 - Metres CATEGORY-II (11 Runners)

BERRETTINI (P. Sai Kumar) stumbled after the start for no apparent reason.

 

Jockey Kuldeep Singh (Sr) (ESPIONAGE) reported that his mount was hanging in, in the straight more so under pressure inspite of his best efforts, noted. Trainer D. Netto was advised to take remedial measures before next accepting in a race.

 

D MINCHU (P. Ajeeth Kumar) winner of the race is sampled.

7th RACE (62) THE INDEPENDENCE CUP (Division - I) ABOUT 1200 - Metres CATEGORY-II  (9 Runners)

SHADOW FAX (App. Sonu Kumar) jumped out slowly losing about 1 or 2 lengths.

 

Explanation of Jockey P. Sai Kumar (RIVAL) that his mount did not come on the bit and also did not shown any interest in the race and finished the course distance behind inspite of his best efforts. However. Trainer K.S.V. Prasad Raju while confirming the above added that he too was baffled with the running of his charge and had no plausible explanation to offer to his charges poor performance and opined that his charge may not have liked the going was noted for future reference. However, the Trainer was informed that any reversal of form of his charge, he will be liable for severe disciplinary action has deemed fit. Jockey P. Sai Kumar was cautioned for dropping hands in the final 100 mtrs though on a beaten horse.

 

 

 

Explanation of Jockey Varun (N R I DHEERA) in the presence of Trainer R H Sequeira that his mount held the bit one side and was trying to run out throughout the race in the process shifted out while negotiating the final bend veered out further on to the outer track under pressure in the straight and finished the course as such inspite of his best efforts, noted. Trainer R H Sequeira was advised to show his charge in a Mock race before next accepting in a race.

 

Explanation of Jockey Mukesh Kumar (MIX THE MAGIC) that his mount did not raise a winning gallop in the straight inspite of his best efforts.  Subsequent Veterinary examination revealed that the mare was trotting lame on left fore due to painful medial splint after the race.

8th RACE (63) THE KARIMNAGAR PLATE (Division - II) ABOUT 1200 - Metres CATEGORY-III (13 Runners)

LEGO (A. Ashhad Asbar) and GOLDEN UNICORN (P. Sai Kumar) jumped out slowly losing about 1 or 2 lengths each.

 

BATTLE ON (App. Ajay Kumar) jumped out slowly losing about 2 or 3 lengths.

 

App. Sonu Kumar (SILVER LINING) was cautioned to be more vigorous in his efforts in the straight.

 

GOLDEN UNICORN (P. Sai Kumar) and SILVER LINING (App. Sonu Kumar) trailed the field throughout the race inspite of jockey & App's s efforts. Trainers S. Sreekanth and M.F. Ali Khan were advised for a better performance in future.

 

Explanation of Jockey P. Ajeeth Kumar (SHOOTING STAR) that his saddle moved back at about the                    800 mtrs as such he could not ride out his mount to complete advantage in the straight. Trainer R H Sequeira was cautioned for negligence in discharging his duties as the saddle of his charge (1st offense) slipped during the running of the race.

 

Jockey Mohit Singh (HOPING STAR) was fined Rs.5000/- for excessive and improper use of whip.

Race No. 1:      CERTANITY (Yash Narredu) took time to load. Trainer Laxman Singh was advised to show his charge at the gates before next accepting in a race.

Race No. 3:      SHE CAN was troublesome to stall. Trainer N. Rawal was advised to show his charge at the gates before next accepting in a race

Race No. 7:      SHADOW FAX took a fly jump.

Race No. 8:      GOLDEN UNICORN slow out by 2 lengths.
