RACEDAY REPORT

Track Condition: GOING GOOD. Penetro Meter Reading : 5.25 cms

The false rails are positioned from 1400 mtrs to 900 mtrs at an average width of 5 mtrs and thereafter gradually increased to 7 mtrs upto the winning post. The distances are measured and marked accordingly.

1st RACE (64) THE BHUPALPALLY PLATE (Division - I) ABOUT 1400 - Metres CATEGORY-III                           (9 Runners)

EXCLUSIVE LUCK (Imran Chisty) jumped out slowly losing about 1 or 2 lengths.

 

BELLINGHAM (P. Ajeeth Kumar) jumped out slowly losing about 4 or 5 lengths, SSC revoked.

 

Explanation of Jockey Surya Prakash (CHAR EK CHAR) that his mount held the bit on to one side and jumped out awkwardly on to the runners drawn on his outside inspite of his best efforts. As this confirmed our observation no action beyond noting the same was taken.  Trainer M F Ali Khan was advised to show his charge at the gates before next accepting in a race.

 

Jockey Mohit Singh (HOPING STAR) was cautioned for shifting in at about the 700 mtrs on to CATCH THE WORM (B R Kumar) who in turn shifted in and tightened SADIYA (H M Akshay) racing on the rails.

 

Explanation of Jockey P. Sai Kumar (GOLDEN UNICORN) that his mount did not raise a fluent gallop throughout the race and finished the course at the rear end of the field inspite of his best efforts, noted. Subsequent Veterinary examination revealed that the rig lost right fore shoe during the running of the race. However, the rig was trotting sound after the race.

 

Explanation of Jockey Imran Chisty (EXCLUSIVE LUCK) that his mount did not raise a fluent gallop throughout the race inspite of his best efforts, noted. Trainer A Imran Khan was advised for a better performance in future.

 

CATCH THE WORM (B R Kumar) was observed to have sustained bleeding cut injuries over right hind proximal third inside cannon. However, the filly was trotting sound after the race.

2nd RACE (65) THE SILVER PHANTOM PLATE ABOUT 1600 - Metres CATEGORY-II (11 Runners)

Jockey Mohit Singh (REAL THALAIVAA) was severely cautioned for losing his position and dropping back in the initial stages of the race for no apparent reason.

 

Explanation of Jockey Gaurav Singh (PRIDE ASIDE) in the presence of Trainer N Ravinder Singh that his instructions were to go to front or if someone is chasing sit close 2nd,  but due to interference  received soon after the start, he could not go to front and in the straight his mount was hanging in as such he was unable to ride out his mount to complete advantage was not accepted and the Jockey was fined Rs.5000/- for failing to make sufficient efforts in the initial stages of the race to follow the given instructions.

 

Explanation of jockey K G Likith Appu (LA QUINTA) that his mount was keen soon after the start and was also trying to run out as such he was forced to check his mount to avoid clipping the front runners. As this confirmed our observation no action beyond noting the same was taken.

 

MAURITIUS (Abhay Singh) trailed the field throughout the race inspite of Jockeys efforts. Trainer L V R Deshmukh was advised for a better performance in future.

 

Explanation of Jockey Mukesh Kumar (SOUND WAVE) that his mount did not raise a fluent gallop throughout the race inspite of his best efforts, noted.  Trainer Magan Singh Parmar was advised for a better performance in future.

 

ONSLAUGHT (R N Darshan) winner of the race is sampled.

3rd RACE (66) THE BHUPALPALLY PLATE (Division - II) ABOUT 1400 - Metres CATEGORY-III    (7 Runners)

SMART BOY (K G Likith Appu) was fractious inside the stalls, reared up and put the leg on the adjoining stall, as such the gelding was permitted to be withdrawn before coming under starters orders.

 

BLUE NILE (App. Kuldeep Singh) jumped out slowly losing about 1 or 2 lengths.

 

Jockey H M Akshay (CLASSICAL MUSIC) (drawn 6) was cautioned for cutting across the field soon after the start though no interference was caused.

 

Jockey Md. Ismail (SECRET OPTION) was fined Rs. 2000/- for checking his mount and dropping back in the initial stages of the race for no apparent reason.

 

DIVINE SECRET (B R Kumar) winner of the race is sampled.

4th RACE (67) THE HILL FORT PLATE (Division - I) ABOUT 1200 - Metres CATEGORY-III                                        (10 Runners)

Permission has been granted to Trainer S. Sreekanth to saddle DALI'S CHAMPION on behalf of Trainer G. Sandeep at both Trainers risk and liability.

 

DALI'S CHAMPION (Kuldeep Singh (Sr) was denied a clear run in the final 300 mtrs.

 

Explanation of Jockey G Naresh (NATU NATU) in the presence of Trainer Laxman Singh that his instructions were to go to front which he tried to follow until entering the straight and thereafter when asked for an effort, his mount changed her leg and started dropping back and did not raise a fluent gallop in the straight inspite of his best efforts. The Trainer while confirming the above added that his charge had problems in the past and in this race he had instructed the Jockey to go to front which the Jockey followed and in his opinion his charge has run to her potential.  The Trainer further added that he had not fancied his charge but given her a chance as she has done nothing in her past and was surprised to see that his charge was “on money” favourite was noted for future reference.  The Trainer was however informed that any reversal of form in future, he will be liable for severe disciplinary action as deemed fit.

 

PRINCE (R S Jodha) trailed the field throughout the race and finished the course at the rear end of the field. Trainer K. Satheesh was advised for a better performance in future.

 

Explanation of Trainer M F Ali Khan with regard to the improved performance of his charge SHUBHRAK                  (A A Vikrant) winner of this race who finished off the board in the previous run that in Race No. 8 his charge finished 5th and thereafter ran in Race No. 43 where the equipment " Hood" of his charge came off soon after the start and hampered the vision of his charge, as such the Jockey could not offer complete assistance to his charge and finished last as compared to the present race where the Jockey has given his charge a clear run and able to go to front, set his own pace and went on to win the race. The Trainer further added that he had not fancied his charge and was available at longer odds was noted for future reference.

 

SHUBHRAK (A A Vikrant) winner of the race is sampled.

5th RACE (68) THE B. MARIDESHWARA RAO MEMORIAL CUP ABOUT 1200 - Metres CATEGORY-II                  (8 Runners)

MALIBU (P. Uday Kiran) jumped out awkwardly, in the process lost about 1 or 2 lengths. Trainer M F Ali Khan was advised to show his charge at the gates before next accepting in a race.

 

Jockey A A Vikrant (CLEFAIRY) was cautioned to be more vigorous in his efforts to be well up with the field in the initial stages of the race.

 

Jockey P. Uday Kiran (MALIBU) was cautioned for improper riding of his mount in the initial stages of the race.  

 

Explanation of Jockey Rafique Sk (LAZARUS) that his instructions were to sit close with runners which he tried to follow until entering the straight and thereafter when asked for an efforts, his mount did not raise a fluent gallop inspite of his best efforts, noted. The Jockey was however, cautioned to be more vigorous in the initial stages of the race to be well up with the field.

6th RACE (69) THE NORTHERN DANCER PLATE ABOUT 1400 - Metres CATEGORY-II (8 Runners)

SOPRANOS (Md. Ismail) jumped out slowly losing about 1 or 2 lengths.

 

N R I ULTRAPOWER (Akshay Kumar) winner of the race is sampled.

7th RACE (70) THE GOVERNOR'S CUP ABOUT 1200 - Metres CATEGORY-I (13 Runners)

MISS MAYA (Mukesh Kumar) jumped out slowly losing about 4 or 5 lengths, SSC revoked.

 

LAST WISH (H M Akshay) was denied a clear run soon after the start due to wall of horses racing in front.

 

Jockey B R Kumar (LASHKA) was fined Rs. 3000/- for shifting in, in the final 250 mtrs in the process taking the ground of IMPERIA (P. Ajeeth Kumar) who in turn forced in DECACORN (Akshay Kumar) racing on the rails.

 

Explanation of Jockey Imran Chisty (VIVALDO) that his mount was lugging in for greater part of the race inspite of his best efforts.  Trainer A. Imran Khan was advised to take remedial measures before next accepting in a race.

 

Jockey P. Ajeeth Kumar (IMPERIA) was cautioned for forcing a passage when there was insufficient room at about the 250 mtrs.

8th RACE (71) THE SALAR JUNG CUP ABOUT 1100 - Metres CATEGORY-II (12 Runners)

NEWFOUND GLORY (App. Ajay Kumar) was observed to have developed urticaria over withers, as such the filly was permitted to be withdrawn on Veterinary grounds.

 

CATCHME IF YOU CAN (B. Nikhil) jumped out slowly and thereafter trailed the field throughout the race and finished the course distance behind. Trainer Magan Singh Parmar was advised for a better performance in future.

 

App. Kuldeep Singh (LINDA) was severely cautioned for failing to take a level jump.

 

KNIGHT CRUSADER (App. Sonu Kumar) jumped out slowly and veered out on to outer track and stopped galloping, SSC revoked. Trainer R H Sequeira was advised to show his charge in a Mock Race to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards before next accepting in a race.

 

Explanation of App. Shivansh (RUNLIKETHEWIND) that his mount jumped out awkwardly resulting in him getting unbalanced in the saddle, in the process lost his both stirrup irons which he could not regain and finished the course as such. As this confirmed our observation, no action beyond noting the same was taken. Trainer L D' Silva was advised to show his charge at the gates before next accepting in a race.

 

DUBAI TOUCH (A. Asshad Asbar) winner of the race is sampled.

9th RACE (72) THE HILL FORT PLATE (Division - II) ABOUT 1200 - Metres CATEGORY-III     (9 Runners)

RARE VUE (Md. Ismail) was observed to be trotting lame on right hind due to back sprain, as such the colt was permitted to be withdrawn on Veterinary grounds.

 

 

 

Explanation of Jockey K G Likith Appu (CAPE MAY) that his mount did not show any speed in the initial stages of the race and was also trying to run out in the straight inspite of his best effort. The Jockey further reported that he lost is whip at about the 300 mtrs accidentally was not accepted and the Jockey was cautioned for losing his whip at the crucial juncture of the race.

 

Jockey Shamaz Shareef (BOLD INDIAN) reported that he lost is whip at about the 500 mtrs was not accepted and was cautioned to be more careful in future.

 

SAFALA (Mukesh Kumar) winner of the race is sampled.

STARTERS REMARKS:

Race No. 1:    EXCLUSIVE LUCK jumped out slowly losing about 1 or 2 lengths.

                          BELLINGHAM jumped out slowly losing about 4 or 5 lengths, SSC revoked.

Race No. 3:    BLUE NILE slow out by 2 lengths.

Race No. 5:    MALIBU took a fly jump. Trainer M F Ali Khan was advised to show his charge at the gates before next accepting in a race.

Race No. 6:    SOPRANOS slow by a length.

                          ARMSTRONG was troublesome and took time to stall. Trainer A. Imran Khan was advised to show his charge at the gates before next accepting in a race.

Race No. 7:    MISS MAYA slow out losing about 5 or 6 lengths, SSC revoked.

Race No. 8:    KNIGHT CRUSADER jumped out slowly and veered out on to outer track and stopped galloping, SSC revoked. Trainer R H Sequeira was advised to show his charge in a Mock Race to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards before next accepting in a race. RUNLIKETHEWIND jumped out awkwardly resulting unbalancing App Trainer L D' Silva was advised to show his charge at the gates before next accepting in a race.

Race No. 9:    CLASHING MEMORIES and CAPE MAY were slow out by a length each.
