RACEDAY REPORT

Track Condition: GOING GOOD. Penetro Meter Reading : 5.12 CMS

False Rails are positioned from 1400 mtrs to 900mtrs at an average width of 2 mtrs and thereafter gradually increased to 5.5 mtrs upto about 450 mtrs. The distances are measured and marked accordingly.

1st RACE (9) THE SHAMIRPET TROPHY (Division - II) ABOUT 1200 - Metres CATEGORY-III                     (8 Runners)

CYPRESS (Kuldeep Singh (Sr) was tightened for room at about the 900 mtrs due to crowding of the runners racing in front.

Explanation of Jockey Md. Ismail (BOLD INDIAN) that his mount held the bit and tried to run out throughout the race inspite of his best efforts, noted.  Trainer S S F Hassan was advised to take remedial measures before next accepting in a race.

Explanation of Jockey Surya Prakash (MIDNIGHT BEAUTY) that his mount did not raise a fluent gallop throughout the race inspite of his best efforts, noted.  Trainer M F Ali Khan was advised for a better performance in future.

2nd RACE (10) THE SCARLET PRINCE PLATE ABOUT 1200 - Metres CATEGORY-II  (14 Runners )

Consequent to Jockey R S Jodha having been declared medically unfit to ride, the Stewards of the Club permitted Jockey Md. Ekram Alam to be substituted on LOVE ALL.

Jockeys Kuldeep Singh (Sr) (WIND CASTLE) and P. Ajeeth Kumar (TWILIGHT KING) reported that their mounts ran green throughout the race inspite of their best efforts, as such they were unable to ride out their mounts on even keel was noted.

Jockey Akshay Kumar (VELVERA) reported that his mount ran green throughout the race inspite of his best efforts, noted.

Jockey Rafique Sk (NORTHERN SKY) was severely reprimanded for shifting out while negotiating the final bend in the process forcing out ANEMARA (B R Kumar).

Jockey B R Kumar (ANEMARA) was fined Rs.3,000/- for shifting in sharply at about the 300 mtrs in the process causing severe interference to KINSHIP (B. Nikhil) racing on his inside.

Jockey Shivam (N R I MEGA POWER) was severely reprimanded for shifting out at about the 200 mtrs in the process forcing out ANEMARA (B R Kumar).

WESEETHESAMESUN (Ajay Kumar) trailed the field throughout the race and finished the course distance behind.

3rd RACE (11) THE FIRECREST PLATE (Division - II) ABOUT 1100 - Metres CATEGORY-II  (8 Runners)

The Stirrup Irons of Jockey P. Ajeeth Kumar (SWEET DANCER) being broken at the Starting gates, the mare was permitted to be withdrawn before coming under starters orders.

KALKI (Surya Prkash) jumped out awkwardly in the process losing considerable ground and thereafter ran erratic. Trainer S A Raza Shehzad was advised to show his charge at the Starting gates to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards before next accepting in a race.

 

Jockey Neeraj Rawal (DUBAI TOUCH) was fined Rs.5,000/- for shifting in soon after the start in the process causing inconvenience to the runners racing on his inside and thereafter after travelling few strides shifted in again causing interference to FIRST LADY (Shivam) racing on the rails.

TURIYA (P. Trevor) was observed to be trotting lame on right fore.

4th RACE (12) THE MALAKPET PLATE ABOUT 1600 - Metres CATEGORY-III (7 Runners)

App. Kuldeep Singh (PRIDE ASIDE) was cautioned for changing course on more than one occasion for greater part of the race for no apparent reason.

ONLY MY WAY (Rafique Sk) returned lame on right fore due to knee joint sprain.

LA FLEURIERE (P. Trevor) winner of the race is sampled.

5th RACE (13) THE SHAMIRPET TROPHY (Division - I) ABOUT 1200 - Metres CATEGORY-III                      (9 Runners)

Explanation of Jockey B R Kumar (ZINDABAD) that his mount was fractious inside the stalls and took an awkward jump as the start was affected resulting in his saddle moving back as such he could not offer complete assistance to his mount and his mount was also trying to run out until entering the straight inspite of his best efforts. As this confirmed our observation, the Jockeys explanation was noted. Trainer R H Sequeira was advised to take remedial measures before next accepting in a race.

FAIZAH (Rafique Sk) jumped out slowly losing about 1 or 2 lengths.

HONEY LUNA (Abhay Singh) and RATE OF INTEREST (Santosh Raj N R) trailed the field throughout the race and finishing the course distance behind inspite of respective Jockeys efforts.

Jockey N R Santosh Raj (RATE OF INTEREST) was cautioned for tender handling of his mount in the initial stages of the race.

6th RACE (14) THE ROYSTON ROCK PLATE ABOUT 1200 - Metres CATEGORY-II  (7 Runners)

Jockey Gaurav Singh (PROUD MARY) was cautioned for dropping his hands much before passing the wining post though on a beaten horse.

Jockey B R Kumar (D MINCHU) was cautioned for failing to ride out his mount past the post though on a beaten horse.

N R I HIGH POWER (Akshay Kumar) winner of the race is sampled.

7th RACE (15) THE COLONEL B SANTOSH BABU MEMORIAL TROPHY ABOUT 1400 - Metres CATEGORY-II (15 Runners)

TOROBRAVO (Abhay Singh) was reluctant to be stalled inspite of several attempts, as such the gelding was permitted to be withdrawn before coming under starters orders, SSC revoked.

PERFECT LIGHT (Surya Prakash) jumped out slowly losing about 2 or 3 lengths and thereafter trailed the field and finished the course distance behind. Trainer M F Ali Khan was advised for a better performance in future.

GOLDEN GAZELLE (Akshay Kumar) jumped out slowly losing about 1 or 2 lengths.

 

BLUE PANTHERESS (Rafique Sk) jumped out slowly losing about 1 or 2 lengths.

Explanation of Jockey P. Ajeeth Kumar (TORCHEBEARER) that he accidentally lost his whip at about the 350 mtrs, was not accepted and the Jockey was cautioned to be more careful in future.

8th RACE (16) THE FIRECREST PLATE (Division - I) ABOUT 1100 - Metres CATEGORY-II    (10 Runners)

Consequent to Jockey Ajay Kumar having been declared medically unfit to ride, the Stewards of the Club permitted Jockey P. Sai Kumar to be substituted on RIVAL.

Explanation of Jockeys B. Nikhil (FEEL THE MAGIC) and P. Sai Kumar (RIVAL) that their mounts did not raise a fluent gallop throughout the race inspite of their best efforts, noted.

JURAMENTO (Surya Prakash) trailed the field throughout the race.   Trainer M F Ali Khan was advised for a better performance in future.

SEE THE LIGHT (Akshay Kumar) winner of the race is sampled.

STARTERS REMARKS:

Race No. 2:      KINSHIP was troublesome to stall. Trainer Magan Singh Parmar was advised to show       his charge at the gates before next accepting in a race.

Race No. 3:      KALKI took an awkward jump and lost about 3 lengths. Trainer S A Raza Shehzad was       advised to show his charge at the gates before next accepting in a race.

                         As the stirrup irons of SWEET DANCER broke, the mare was permitted to be         withdrawn before coming under starters orders. .

Race No. 5:      ZINDABAD fractious inside the gates. Trainer R H Sequeira was advised to show his       charge at the gates before next accepting in a race.

Race No.6:                   N R I HIGH POWER took time to load. Trainer D. Netto was advised to show his charge       at the gates before next accepting in a race.

Race No. 7:      TOROBRAVO was reluctant to be stalled inspite of several attempts, the gelding was       permitted to be withdrawn before coming under starters orders, SSC revoked.
