RACEDAY REPORT

Track Condition: Going Good. Penetro Meter Reading : 5.06 cms, No False Rails

1st RACE (152) THE NIJINSKY PLATE (Division - I) ABOUT 1200 - Metres CATEGORY-III                               (9 Runners)

CEE BEES (Kuldeep Singh (Sr)) reared up and took a fly jump as the start was effected, resulting in, Jockey getting unbalanced on his mount and dislodged. The riderless horse ran the course as such, SSC revoked. Trainer S. Sreekanth was advised to show his charge in a Mock race to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards before next accepting in a race. 

 

MEADOW (Arjun) jumped out slowly losing about 1 or 2 lengths.

 

MOONLITE ROSE (Surya Prakash) was denied a clear run in the final 50 mtrs of the race due to wall of horses racing in front.

 

COSTA MESA (Akshay Kumar) returned bleeding from both the nostrils after the race.

 

STARLIGHT DANCER (App. Rajpratap Singh) returned lame on right fore after the race.

 

CEE BEES (Kuldeep Singh (Sr)) returned lame on left fore after the race.

 

RAJENDRA (H M Akshay) winner of the race is sampled.

2nd RACE (153) THE SANDOWN PARK PLATE ABOUT 1400 - Metres CATEGORY-II (7 Runners)

Explanation of Jockey P. Trevor (KNIGHT REGENT) in the presence of Trainer L.V.R. Deshmukh that his mount was hesitating to gallop and did not raise a fluent gallop for greater part of the race inspite of his best efforts was noted. Subsequent Veterinary examination revealed that the gelding was trotting lame on right fore after the race.

 

Jockey Akshay Kumar (N R I TRIPLE POWER) was fined Rs.2,000/- for shifting out while negotiating the final bend in the process forcing out DECOY ( Afroz Khan) who in turn caused inconvenience to KNIGHT REGENT ( P. Trevor) who is racing on his outside.

3rd RACE (154) THE S. S. CARDMASTER MEMORIAL TROPHY ABOUT 1400 - Metres CATEGORY-III              (9 Runners)

SADIYA (Arjun) and EMPERORS CHARM (P. Trevor) jumped out slowly losing about 1 or 2 lengths each.

 

Explanation of Jockey Kuldeep Singh (Sr) (EXCLUSIVE LUCK) that his mount was keen in the initial stages of the race and thereafter when asked for an effort in the straight did not raise a fluent gallop inspite of his best efforts was confirmed by Trainer A. Imran Khan.  However, the Jockey was severely reprimanded to be more vigorous in his efforts was in the initial stages of the race to be well up with the field and also for dropping his hands before passing the winning post.   Subsequent Veterinary examination revealed that though the gelding was trotting sound but has sharp molars on both sides. Trainer A. Imran Khan was fined Rs. 1000/- for negligence in discharging his duties in presenting of his charge for a race.

 

 

 

 

 

 

An objection lodged by Jockey Mukesh Kumar (GREAT GIVER) placed 4th by the Judge against Jockey Mohit Singh (DECEMBER RAIN) placed 2nd by the Judge in that "he came in sharply in the final stages of the race when my mount was full of running and closing the gap by using the whip on his left side and bumped me twice that cost me a certain place" was overruled by the Stewards and the Judges placing remaining unaltered.

 

Jockey Surya Prakash (UNA PALOMA BLANCA) was fined Rs.2000/- for shifting in, in the final 200 mtrs of the race in the process forcing in DECEMBER RAIN (Mohit Singh).

 

Jockey P. Trevor (EMPERORS CHARM) was fined Rs.3000/- for failing to maintain a straight course in the finals stages of the race.

4th RACE (155) THE KINNERASANI TROPHY ABOUT 1200 - Metres CATEGORY-II (8 Runners)

CATCHME IF YOU CAN (Dhanu S Deora) was slow into stride losing about 2 or 3 lengths and thereafter trailed the field throughout the race.

 

DALI'S DESTINY (Gaurav Singh) jumped out slowly losing about 1 or 2 lengths.

 

LAZARUS (Surya Prakash) was observed to have lost its right fore shoe during the running of the race. However, the gelding was trotting sound after the race.

5th RACE (156) THE GOLCONDA ST.LEGER (GRADE II) ABOUT 2800 - Metres (7)Runners

SUPERSTAR (A. Ashhad Asbar) was slow into stride losing about distance, SSC revoked.

 

After passing the winning post ARRIVED (P. Trevor) suddenly collapsed at about the 1800 mtrs, resulting in Jockey got dislodged from the mount. The Jockey who was given immediate medical aid, escaped unhurt.   Subsequent Veterinary examination revealed that the colt had collapsed and died at around the 1800 mtrs.

 

SUPERSTAR (A. Ashhad Absar) was observed to have sustained cut injury over right hind front of coronet.  However, the gelding was trotting sound after the race.

6th RACE (157) THE NIJINSKY PLATE (Division - II) ABOUT 1200 - Metres CATEGORY-III                          (9 Runners)

Consequent to Jockey Ajay Kumar having been declared medically unfit to ride, the Stewards of the Club permitted Jockey Md. Ismail to be substituted on SPORTING TOUCH.

 

KONASEEMA (App. Vikram Singh) whilst travelling with the mid bunch, clipped the heels of FARSIRIS (App. Sonu Kumar) who was racing in front at about the 900 mtrs, resulting in the App. being dislodged from the mount. The App who was given immediate medical aid was referred to hospital for further treatment.

 

Due to above fall, the running of NIGHT WHISPER (H M Akshay) and BODHI (P. Ajeeth Kumar) who were racing directly behind got hampered.

 

App. Sonu Kumar (FARSIRIS) was fined Rs.5,000/- for using the whip on the right although his mount was tending to shift out in the final 200 mtrs in the process hampering the running of NIGHT WHISPER (H M Akshay).

 

 

 

AQUATONE (P. Trevor) returned lame on left fore after the race.

 

KONASEEMA (App. Vikram Singh) returned bleeding from right nostril after the race.

STARTERS REMARKS:

Race No 1 :            CEE BEES reared up and took a fly jump as the start was effected, resulting in, Jockey got unbalanced on his mount and got dislodged, SSC revoked. Trainer S. Race No. 3:            DECEMBER RAIN was troublesome to stall. Trainer Jasbir Singh was advised to show his charge at the gates before next accepting in a race.

Race No. 5:            SUPERSTAR slow out losing about 7 to 8 lengths, SSC revoked.
