RACEDAY REPORT

Track Condition: GOING GOOD. Penetro Meter Reading : 4.99 Cms

The False Rails are positioned from 1400 mtrs to the Winning post at an average of width of 6.5 mtrs. The distances are re-measured and marked accordingly.

1st RACE (31) THE P. G. REDDY MEMORIAL TROPHY (Division - III) ABOUT 1200 - Metres CATEGORY-II (8 Runners)

BLUE PANTHERESS (Rafique Sk) was slow into stride losing about 1 or 2 lengths.

JURAMENTO (Surya Prakash) dropped back from about the 400 mtrs finishing the course distance behind. Trainer M F Ali Khan was advised for a better performance in future.

VICTORIA DORESAANI ( Akshay Kumar) winner of the race is sampled.

2nd RACE (32) THE ROYAL REVIVE PLATE ABOUT 1400 - Metres CATEGORY-II (11 Runners)

Explanation of Jockey B R Kumar (CONCORDIA) that his mount was restless in the gates and took a fly jump, in the process losing about 2 or 3 lengths and thereafter ran erratically and in the straight he did his best was not accepted and the Jockey was cautioned to be more alert in the gates. Trainer R H Sequeira was advised to show his charge at the gates before next accepting in a race.

Jockey Neeraj Rawal (TOSHIRO) reported that his mount was hanging in for a greater part of the race inspite of his best efforts, noted.

SHE'S BOMB (Shivam) was tightened for room at about the 1100 mtrs due to wall of horses racing in front.

Jockey Shivam (SHE'S BOMB) was cautioned for travelling 5 to 6 horses wide from about the 400 mtrs for no apparent reason.

Explanation of Jockey Akshay Kumar (DIGITAL EMPRESS) that his instructions were to sit close 2nd, which he tried to follow until entering the straight and thereafter when asked for efforts, his mount did not raise a winning gallop in the straight inspite of his best efforts. The Jockey further added that his saddle also moved back, as such he could not ride out his mount to complete advantage.  Trainer L.V.R. Deshkumkh was fined a sum of Rs. 5000/- for negligence in discharging his duties with regard to saddling of his charge, where the saddle of the horse moved back during the running of the race.

Explanation of Trainer K. Satheesh with regard to the improved performance of his charge LOVE ALL (R S Jodha) winner of this race, who finished close 6th in the previous race.  He stated that his charge in the previous race did not take a level jump and was also denied a clear run and was gaining ground in the straight as compared to the present race, where Jockey took level jump and positioned as instructed and extra 200 mtrs to run in the present race has been to his charges advantage and went on to win the race. The Trainer further added that he had not fancied but given a chance was noted.

LOVE ALL (R S Jodha) winner of the race is sampled.

3rd RACE (33) THE ADLER PLATE (Division - II) ABOUT 1200 - Metres CATEGORY-III (11 Runners)

BOLD INDIAN ( B. Nikhil), MOONLITE ROSE ( Surya Prakash) and SUGRIVA ( Arjun) trailed the field throughout the race inspite of respective Jockeys efforts. Respective Trainers SSF Hassan, M F Ali Khan and Jabsir Singh were advised for a better performance of their charges in future.

 

Jockey B R Kumar (ILENE) was cautioned for dropping his hands well before passing the winning post though on a beaten horse.

Jockey P. Ajeeth Kumar (SADIYA) was fined Rs. 2000/- for tender handling of his mount in the initials stages of the race.

4th RACE (34) THE DEVARAKONDA TROPHY (Division - I) ABOUT 1100 - Metres CATEGORY-III                (9 Runners)

Explanation of Jockey Surya Prakash (TAALIYAH) that his mount was keen soon after the start and in order to avoid clipping the front runners he was forced to check his mount was not accepted and the jockey was cautioned to exercise greater control over his mount in future.

VARADA (Dhanu S Deora) winner of the race is sampled.

5th RACE (35) THE P. G. REDDY MEMORIAL TROPHY (Division - I) ABOUT 1200 - Metres CATEGORY-II (9 Runners)

GOLDEN GAZELLE (Afroz Khan) jumped out slowly losing about 1 or 2 lengths.

Jockey Ajay Kumar (SANGREAL) was cautioned for shifting in at about the 700 mtrs in the process tightening COLT PISTOL (Rafique Sk) and FEDERER (P. Ajeeth Kumar) racing on the rails.

Explanation of Trainer A. Imran Khan with regard to the improved performance of his charge EXCLUSIVE BLACK (P. Trevor) within a short span of time, who finished off board in the previous outing that his charge in the previous race ran with tougher bunch and in higher class as compared to the present race, which being a weaker set in lower class, as such his charge came out and went on to win the race, noted. However, the Trainer was cautioned to ensure that his charges race more consistently in future.

6th RACE (36) THE DEVARAKONDA TROPHY (Division - II) ABOUT 1100 - Metres CATEGORY-III               (8 Runners)

Consequent to Jockey Md. Ekram Alam having been declared medically unfit to ride, the Stewards of the Club permitted Jockey B. Nikhil to be substituted on DON CHERIE.

DON CHERIE (B. Nikhil) jumped out slowly losing about 4 or 5 lengths, SSC revoked.

BEAST MASTER (P. Sai Kumar) trailed the field throughout the race.   Trainer K.S.V. Prasad Raju was advised for a better performance in future.

Explanation of Jockey G. Naresh (FRENCH LADY) that his mount did not raise a fluent gallop throughout the race inspite of his best efforts was noted.   Subsequent Veterinary examination revealed that the filly was observed to be walking lame on right hind on 11.08.2026.

Jockey Shivam (GOLDEN UNICORN) reported that his mount was trying to run out throughout the race inspite of his best efforts. Trainer S. Sreekanth was advised to take remedial measures before next accepting in a race.

Explanation of Trainer Magan Singh Parmar with regard to the improved performance of his charge FEEL THE MAGIC (Dhanu S Deora), who finished off the board in his previous outing, that his charge in the previous race ran with tougher bunch and in higher class with no whip as compared to the present race, his charge met a weaker set in lower class, as such came out and just managed to win the race, noted. However, the Trainer was cautioned to ensure that his charges race more consistently in future.

 

7th RACE (37) THE P. G. REDDY MEMORIAL TROPHY (Division - II) ABOUT 1200 - Metres CATEGORY-II (7 Runners)

SHADOW BABY was observed to be have laboured breathing with bleeding from both nostrils, as such the mare was permitted to be withdrawn on Veterinary grounds.

Consequent to Jockey Akshay Kumar having been declared medically unfit to ride, the Stewards of the Club permitted Jockey Afroz Khan to be substituted on ARTHISHA.

Explanation of Jockey Surya Prakash (SHAH OF IRAN) that his mount was hanging out throughout the race, as such he could not ride out his mount to complete advantage was not accepted and the Jockey was severely reprimanded for failing to ride out his mount to complete advantage.

Race No. 2:         CONCRODIA slow out losing about 2 or 3 lengths. Trainer R H Sequeira was advised to show his charge at the gates before next accepting in a race.

Race No. 5:         GOLDEN GAZELLE slow out by 1 or 2 lengths. Trainer M. Srinivas Reddy was advised to show his charge at the gates before next accepting in a race.

Race No. 6:         DON CHERIE slow out losing about 4 or 5 lengths, SSC revoked.

1st RACE (24) THE SULTAN PHEROZE PLATE (Division - I) ABOUT 1100 - Metres CATEGORY-II :               

 

The Stewards of Hyderabad Race Club have resolved to suspend the “A” Trainers License granted to Mr. G. Shashikanth, under the HRC Rules of Racing, for the year 2026-2027 in exercise of their powers vested under Rules 41 (a) read in conjunction with Rule 114 (a), 202, (xvi)  of HRC Rules of Racing with immediate effect, pending enquiry for contravening/violating the norms of “A”  Trainers License issued to him by the HRC with respect to his charge “ NORTHERN SKY”.

 

The Trainer was further informed that during the period of his suspension he will not;

 

be permitted to own or train horses.

be permitted to act as an authorized agent under the H.R.C. Rules of Racing.

be permitted to enter or  race a horse in your name in any recognized race meeting.

be permitted to visit the race course and /or attend racing and/or stables/or any premises of HRC where IVB Racing is conducted. .

be permitted to attend track work.
