RACEDAY REPORT

Track Condition: GOING GOOD. Penetro Meter Reading : 5.28 CMS

The False Rails have been positioned from 1400 mtrs to 900 mtrs at an average width of 6 mtrs and thereafter gradually increased to 7 mtrs upto the winning post. The distances are measured and marked accordingly.

Permission has been granted to trainer S S F Hassan to saddle the following horses on behalf of Trainer Jasbir Singh at both the Trainers' risk and liability.

1st RACE (150) THE NIJINSKY PLATE (Division - II) ABOUT 1200 - Metres CATEGORY-III (10 Runner)

KITSUNE (Gaurav Singh) was fractious inside the stalls, as such the filly was permitted to be withdrawn before coming under starters orders, SSC revoked.

THE DIVINELY (Rafique Sk) was slow into stride in the process lost considerable ground.

App. Sonu Kumar (MAHWISH) was cautioned for failing to maintain a straight course soon after the start.

Jockey H M Akshay (N R I RANGE) was fined Rs.3000/- for maintaining an erratic course from about 350 mtrs in the process shifting in at about the 250 mtrs, bumping CYPRESS ( Kuldeep Singh (Sr).

BLUE CANDY (Md. Ekram Alam) dropped back from about the 600 mtrs in the process finished the course distance behind.

SUGRIVA (B. Nikhil) trailed the field throughout the race and finished the course at the rear end of the field.

CYPRESS (Kuldeep Singh (Sr) was trotting lame on right fore due to knee joint sprain after the race.

GREIF (P.Sai Kumar) winner of the race is sampled.

2nd RACE (151) THE SIRCILLA PLATE ABOUT 1400 - Metres CATEGORY-III                         (12 Runner)

ANEMOI (Surya Prakash) jumped out slowly losing about 1 or 2 lengths.

Jockey Afroz Khan (SEE MY ATTITUDE) was severely reprimanded for tender handling of his mount for greater part of the race.

Jockey Abhay Singh (GOLDEN AURA) was cautioned for failing to hold his position in the initial stages of the race.

Jockey A. Ashhad Asbar (ELEGANT LADY) reported that his mount was hanging in throughout the race inspite of his best efforts, noted. Trainer Mukesh Kumar B was advised to take remedial measures before next accepting in a race. Subsequent examination revealed that though the filly was trotting sound but has sharp molars on both sides. Trainer Mukesh Kumar B was fined Rs.2000/- for negligence in discharging his duties in presenting of his charge for a race.

Jockeys Surya Prakash (ANEMOI) and SILVER LINING (Md. ismail) were cautioned to be more vigorous in their efforts in the straight.

Veterinary examination of FRENCH LADY (App. Ajay Kumar) revealed that though the filly was trotting sound but has sharp molars on both sides. Trainer Robin Reddy K was fined Rs.1000/- for negligence in discharging his duties in presenting his charge for a race.

3rd RACE (152) THE SANDOWN PARK PLATE ABOUT 1400 - Metres CATEGORY-II               (9 Runners)

Explanation of Jockey P. Ajeet Kumar (D MINCHU) in the presence of Trainer A Vatsalya that his instructions were to position his mount 4^th/5^th which he tried to follow until entering into straight and at about the 500 mtrs he was blocked for an opening as such he could not ride out his mount momentarily and thereafter he did  his best but his mount did not show any turn of foot inspite of his best efforts was not accepted and the Jockey was severely reprimanded to make more determined efforts to follow the given instructions.   

However, Jockey P. Ajeeth Kumar was fined Rs.5000/- for shifting out while negotiating the final bend in the process forcing out MAVERICK (Kuldeep Singh (Sr) and BROOKLYN BEAUTY (Gaurav Singh) and thereafter shifting out again at about the 250 mtrs in the process causing inconvenience to MAVERICK (Kuldeep Singh (Sr).

HUGH CAPET (Akshay Kumar) winner of the race is sampled.

4th RACE (153) THE MIR MUSHTAQ ALI KHAN MEMORIAL CUP ABOUT 1200 - Metres CATEGORY-II (9 Runner)

Permission has been granted to Trainer M. Srinivas Reddy to saddle ZUZA (Afroz Khan) on behalf of Trainer L.V.R. Deshmukh at both the Trainers’ risk and liability.

TIGER RUBY (Rafique Sk) jumped out slowly losing about 1 or 2 lengths.

Jockey Rafique Sk (TIGER RUBY) was fined Rs.2000/- for shifting out at about the 200 mtrs in the process bumping ZUZA ( Afroz Khan)

Jockey Surya Prakash (SURYAVANSHI) was fined Rs.2000/- for shifting out at about the 250 mtrs in the process bumping out RIVAL (App. Ajay Kumar).

Explanation of Jockey Mukesh Kumar (N R I HIGH POWER) that his whip got stuck in the reins momentarily at about the 350 mtrs as such he was unable to ride out his mount to complete advantage. As this confirmed our observation, no action beyond noting the same was taken. The Jockey was however, fined Rs.5000/- for excessive and improper of use of the whip.

Jockey Akshay Kumar (CLARA) was fined Rs.5000/- for excessive and improper use of the whip.

5th RACE (154) THE S S CARDMASTER MEMORIAL CUP ABOUT 1400 - Metres CATEGORY-III (10 Runner)

ALCAHOL FREE (Rafique Sk) was slow into stride in the process losing about 2 or 3 lengths.

An objection lodged by Jockey Surya Prakash (JURAMENTO) placed 2nd by the Judge against Jockey P. Sai Kumar (HOPING STAR) the winner that " he took me out from about the 450 mtrs when I was trying to pass him and again took me out sharply at about the 150 mtrs, thereby I lost a certain win" was overruled by the Stewards and the judges placing remains unchanged.

6th RACE (155) THE NIJINSKY PLATE (Division - I) ABOUT 1200 - Metres CATEGORY-III (11 Runner)

STAR COUNCILLOR (App. Ajay Kumar) jumped out slowly losing about 1 or 2 lengths, thereafter ran green and in the process finished the course at the rear end of the field.

BEECH WOOD (B. Nikhil), and FOX WORTH (Kuldeep Singh (Sr) trailed the field throughout the race and finishing the course distance behind. Respective Trainers N. Ravinder Singh and D. Netto were advised for a better performance in future.

Jockey P. Sai Kumar (EQUINE POWER) reported that his mount ran green in the straight inspite of his best efforts, noted. Trainer K.S.V. Prasad Raju was advised to take remedial measures before next accepting in a race.

STARTERS REMARKS:
