N O T I C E

Concessions to owners and trainers of horses racing during Hyderabad Monsoon Races 2012.

The Stewards of the Hyderabad Race Club have resolved that the following concessions will be made available in respect of horses racing during the Hyderabad Monsoon Races 2012.

1. No course fee will be charged.

2. (a) Stable rent as applicable from time to time will be levied for horses participating in the Hyderabad Monsoon Races 2012 and for two year old horses, which are based at Hyderabad under the charge of `A' Licensed Trainers for the purpose of participating in the Hyderabad Winter Races 2012 –13.

(b) No trainer will be allotted more than 60 stables. The allotment of stables will be at the sole discretion of the Stewards and their decision will be final.

3. FODDER CONCESSION :

a. Fodder concession at the rate of Rs.750 per horse will be paid to 'A' licenced trainers for the season in respect of horses under their charge, provided such horse/s runs atleast three times during the Hyderabad Monsoon Races 2012 and is stationed in Hyderabad for the purpose of participating in the Hyderabad Monsoon Races 2012.

b. 33% of the cost of Oats not exceeding three bags (50 Kgs. each) per horse per month supplied by the A.P. Race Horse Owners' Association for consumption by horses will be borne by the Hyderabad Race Club as subsidy for horses permanently based at Hyderabad under the charge of ‘ A ‘ licenced Trainers under the HRC Rules of Racing during the season 2012-13.

c. No Oats subsidy will be paid for horses under the charge of 'B' licensed Trainers and 7 year olds and upward who participate in the Hyderabad Monsoon Races 2012.

4."A" Licensed Trainers and Jockeys participating in the Hyderabad Monsoon Races 2012 will be paid Rs.1,000 and Rs.600 per month respectively if accommodation is not provided for them in the Race Club premises.

5. Horses which are based at Hyderabad under the charge of an ‘A’ licenced trainer will be eligible for all concessions provided for in clauses 1, 2 & 3 subject to their conforming to the conditions therein and provided that the said horse/s arrive in station prior to July 17^th, 2012 and do not leave station before conclusion of the Hyderabad Monsoon Races 2012, except with the prior permission of the Stewards.

6. An amount equivalent to entry fee will be credited to the owners B.M.C. account in respect of actual runners and for horses withdrawn on Veterinary grounds after having been accepted in a race excepting in the case of a Sweepstakes race at the end of racing season 2012-13.

7. Horses, 7 year olds and upward are not permitted to race under the HRC Rules of Racing and will not be provided stabling facilities unless otherwise permitted by the Stewards of the Club. In case, such horse/s is permitted to race will be eligible for oats/fodder concession.

The above will not apply to horses participating in races specified in clause (b) of stabling.

8. Horse/s 3 years old and upward which fail to earn any stakes and such horse/s which have earned stakes from 5^th & 6^th placings only under the HRC Rules of Racing during the season 2012-13 will not be eligible for any Oats/Fodder concession.

However, horses certified unsound to race by the Club's Veterinary Officer during the above racing season will be eligible for oats/fodder concession. Further, such horses which are unsound and not raced for over a period of one year shall not be eligible for any oats/fodder concession.

Also, such horses which are rated 10 and below at any time during the racing season 2012-13 shall not be eligible for oats/fodder concession.

9. The Stewards reserve to themselves the right to add, amend, vary or rescind any of the terms to the above concessions at any time even during the validity of the above offer.

10. The interpretation of any conditions of the concessions offered above will rest solely with the Stewards of the Hyderabad Race Club and their decision will be final and binding.

Special attention is invited to General Conditions 1, 2 & 3.

Owners, Trainers and Authorised Agents are advised to keep sufficient deposit with the Secretary to cover every liability during the progress of the Meeting.

STABLING

Due to paucity of stable accommodation, Owners/Trainers of horses other than those which are permanently stationed in Hyderabad as on July 17^th, 2012 wishing to participate in any specific race will not be provided with stables at the Race Course, Malakpet, unless prior permission in writing has been obtained from the Secretary, Hyderabad Race Club. No stables will be allotted to two year old horses which are not permanently stationed at Hyderabad under the charge of an ‘A’ licensed trainer.

Out-station owner/trainers, desirous to bring their charges to participate in any particular race must first obtain permission in writing from Secretary, HRC, regarding availability of stables before the concerned horse/s are sent to the Race Course, Malakpet, Hyderabad.

The conditions applicable to out-station horses are as under:

a) Number of stables for out-station horses are 12 and they will be earmarked separately.

b) No Out-Station horse/s (horses which are not stationed in Hyderabad from the commencement of the Hyderabad Monsoon Races under the charge of 'A' Licensed Trainer) will be permitted to race in any race under the H.R.C. Rules of Racing during the Monsoon Races other than the following Sweepstakes Races :

1. The A P Governor’s Cup

2. The DB Fillies Championship Stakes (Grade III)

3. The DB Colts Championship Stakes (Grade III)

4. The Nizam’s Gold Cup (Grade III)

5. The President of India Gold Cup (Grade I)

6. The A P Chief Minister’s Cup

7. The Melbourne Racing Club Trophy

8. The Vijay Textiles Deccan Derby (Grade I)

9. The Golconda St. Leger (Grade II)

10. The Ybrant Million

Applications for allotment of stables should be made to the Secretary at an early date. Requirements, if any, of hay and bedding must be intimated to the Secretary sufficiently in advance.

A deposit of Rs.100 per stable must be remitted to the Secretary with an application for the exact number of stables required, to reach the Race Office three weeks in advance of the actual date on which they are occupied. The deposit will be credited, to the account of the remitter on the stables being occupied, but is liable to be forfeited if the stables are not occupied.

No fodder will be supplied unless payment is made.

All complaints should be made to the Secretary in writing.

SCALE OF ENTRY FEES AND FORFEITS:

Entry fee will be @ 2% plus applicable service tax of the advertised stakes (excluding the value of Cups/Trophies) to the winner for races other than sweepstakes, of which 1% plus applicable service tax will be charged at the time of entry and 1% plus applicable service tax at the time of forfeits.

REQUISITE HEALTH CERTIFICATE :

All horse/s entering the Hyderabad Race Club premises should necessarily carry a valid E.I.A. negative certificate. The validity of the certificate is 30 days. Further, such horse/s should also carry a health certificate issued by the Veterinary Officer of the respective Turf Authority indicating that the horse/s neither suffered from nor shown any clinical signs of E.I.A., A.H.S. and Glanders.

NORMS FOR ALLOTMENT OF QUOTAS FOR 2 YEAR OLDS AND OWNERSHIP:

a. Breeders, if allotted quota, should own full share in the horse and the same is not transferable till the horse retires from racing at HRC.

b. Trainers should own full share in the horse and the same is not transferable till the horse retires from racing at HRC.

c. Trainers are not permitted to join partnership with any owners.

d. Two year old quotas will not be allotted to such owners who have come under BMC/UPF ban in the preceding two financial years.

e. All sale/lease forms lodged with HRC shall contain the sale value, mode of payment made cash/cheque/DD/Pay Order etc., and the details of cheque/DD/Pay Order etc., (number, date, bank details etc.,). No sale/lease form shall be accepted without the requisite details mentioned above and the same will not be processed/registered.

Performance incentives to owners in addition to the advertised stakes for the following Category races whose horses place 1^st , 2^nd and 3^rd during the Hyderabad Monsoon Races 2012.

Note – There would be no deductions from the above performance incentives and the same will be credited to the owners accounts directly.
